Yes, it’s 2008 and here is what is in store--this musician has turned personal trainer! That’s right - I got my Personal Trainer Specialist certification last month and am now qualified to make you hurt for money.

I haven’t given up music though. On the contrary, I am very optimistic about playing with singer/songwriter Juanita Wilkins. We have some gigs lined up including Summerfolk in Owen Sound August 15-17. I’ll be doing my solo gigs as well. I’ll be entertaining German VIP tours at the Chateau Montebello in Quebec (as Wilhelm Von Bon Bon) among other corporate things and will be playing on the porch again at Sir Sam’s in Haliburton during June, July and August on Saturdays and some Wednesdays. That works out well, as we rent out the family cottage for the summer so I can keep an eye on things. (Still a few weeks left.)

If you missed our TV debut on Disaster DIY in January, I’m sure it will be aired again. (Home and Garden Network). It pretty well ended any possibility of getting into home renovations. Watch for re-runs. It was a lot of fun doing the show.

I’m doing some writing and hope to do some more recording this year as well. My son Glenn and his band The Paint Movement are busy recording some original tunes and want the old man to play on some cuts. They’ve got some great material. Check them out.

I’ve also had some regular gigs with my “Desperate Sidemen”, Gary Taylor and Bruce Longman. We have way too much fun!
